The increasingly popular Body Preparation Video is an effort that was started by Roger Stine, an FFR builder in San Juan Capistrano, CA who is a fiberglass guru. (starting with surfboards!) We at North Racecars have edited Roger’s camera work and made this 30-minute instructional video a must-have for anyone who is prepping and/or painting their own FFR Roadster.
The cost of the body prep video is $15, with all net proceeds going to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. (www.cff.org) For those of you who have not heard of Cystic Fibrosis, it is a genetic lung disease, which makes breathing very difficult and can even be fatal. The reason CF has become our charity of choice is that David Smith (one of the FFR owners), has a daughter named Jenny who was diagnosed with CF at the age of one month. She is now nearly three years old and doing well so far! Donations do make research and new treatments possible and make a difference! So far, North Racecars has contributed almost $1500 to the CF Foundation in Jenny Smith’s name—we certainly hope there is more to come. We have been amazed and encouraged at the outpouring of well wishes that accompany the orders we get for videos. To order, please send $15 to:
